What we look for: Space, Lighting, Seating Arrangement (including an unobstructed view of the head table), Sound System, Projector Screen, Cost, Accessibility, Parking (Lot or Street). Food? (Well after a while the menu is pretty much the same 10-12 dishes. It is after all, a Chinese-Vietnamese wedding banquet. Come on now!)
I already know what you are wondering why we haven't considered some other Peninsula - East Bay standards....well, the seating layout is pretty important. And some of these restaurants, while fancy in its own right, have given up having a nice layout for the purpose of cramming more folk into the space.
